He serves as a board member on: The National Teachers Workshop; National Lectureship Advisory Board; and Tennessee State Lectureship. He received the John Henry Clay Award at the Ministers Institute Conference in 2010. He is the founder of several 501c3 organizations: Charis Acres, Grace Place Retirement Community, and Amen Somebody Outreach Ministry. He serves as Executive Director of a HUD 202 senior citizen retirement facility in Memphis, TN.
He is a graduate of Wittenberg University; Abilene Christian University, and December 2015 received a Doctor of Ministry degree at Union University. His doctoral thesis is, “Developing A Young Adult Ministry at East End Chuch of Christ, Memphis, TN."
James Michael Crusoe is married to Debra Dilworth. Debra was born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico. They have 3 children, Cory, Rebekah, Brittney and one grandchild.
Bro. Crusoe is a native of Dayton, Ohio. He has preached for over 37 years, serving congregations in Arizona, Kansas, Virginia and Tennessee.
He speaks regularly on national, state and regional lectureships. He has preached gospel meetings/revivals/workshops in 31 states and 5 countries: Jamaica, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Nigeria and Liberia. He hosted a national television program broadcasted on THE WORD NETWORK.
